Why is it that some industries/sectors like banks have escaped any such silly moves? As a KK enthusiast, I have to say that this will 'destroy' value. Well, I will have to stick with KK for 10 years coz I can't sell without a 20% tax! That's IF the tranx is large scale enough to fall under M&A laws. Otw, I'd keep my shirt on. 2. This thing of the fruits of our depletable natural resources being celebrated elsewhere must be addressed. This is going to be sticky. What does this mean for existing shareholders? Whereas BBK can fight KRA, what happens if they come after 'wanjiku' selling 1,000 or 10,000 shares? Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett
