@HAFR wea is this thing headed to?

If you are asking about the share Price???

Long Term (In +2 years), NOWHERE, 2-3/- zone.

Medium Term (3-9 months), stagnating at 4.5-6 bob

Short Term ( between FY2013 release and +2-3 weeks), jumping up to 8/- then back to 4.5-6 bob.

That's what i think. I have very low confidence in this thing.

You right.

At 6-6.50 expect an Avalanche of supply..

For this play T4 is important lest you be trapped.

please head over to KK and tell us what's happening in demand and supply. There's something happening.

I still think this demand and supply momentum trading will choma you one of these days, its worse than gambling. But it doesnt mean we cant brainstrom

Many guys do the same.TA tools are a derivative of supply, demand and volume-price action.

I note lot of interest from 17th March with several volume spikes and price heading towards a breakout on upper Bolinger Band at 10.00.

The ugly duckling poised to close in the green after sliding for a while. And so the bounce begins after testing 4.60 and likely to close above open (4.80) with VWAP @4.90. Hammer candle stick forming today indicating bullish reversal in the offing. The overselling and the break of lower BB must be reset.

off the hook abit, i got this colleague of mine who believes in this company and sees it as perfect model to follow, told him to through this thread and this is what he had to say.

Quote:

Quite a concern how the share price dropped so much…

Just thinking Home Afrika was the first company in the building Industry to get to the NSE. What this means is that it could have been misevaluated.

The bloggers here I don’t think really understand what the financial statement say..because they actually defend Home Afrika that is getting more efficient in its operations as indicated by the decline in Cost of Sales despite increase in Turnover…

In addition for Financial statement Analysis the what data do they have….

The guy also talks about the book value….Hope they mean Book Value of Equity per share. This value seeks to show the final claim by shareholders for each share. Standing on it’s own doesn’t say too much.

On this claim

The fact that Home Africa is a listed firm means that they file audited financial statements with the CMA – Capital Markets Authority….so who is the right person to ask really…..I think on the fly of it I find it quite baseless

My conclusion FINANCE LIKE IT is not a NO BRAINER

Reminds me of Olympia where the corrupt Board Members kept on buying shares in firms or made investments every month. And it is all coming crashing down. Watch what merali does at Sameer (Tyres) by selling off properties!

How much was Migaa? Whats the progress so far?

Now, simple mathematics;
1. What is the size of the land, the entire lot and individual plots?
2. How many plots and houses are proposed in that land?
3. How much is a plot and/or house going for?
4. How is that calculated figure compared to the KES2B that is been thrown around?
5. What is the project implementation period, (reminds me of Migaa), i.e when 100% off the plots and/or houses will be sold?
6. What is the going price of nearby land in Riat Hill?

Using the infomation on our hands right now, Home Afrika is HYPER-ULTRA-EXTREMELY risky to buy, until fundamentals change, i will keep off.

It seems guys are very determined to hype this thing, upto the extent of starting new usernames to shore up support. ISORAIT.

But seriously, if the fundamentals are OK, why won't someone just place the numbers on the table so as we can agree to disagree, or disagree to agree.

Don't just say; "its good since its REAL ESTATE, no blogger understands real estate".

Or " the share price has reached its lowest price ever." Seriously???? Investing in hope now???

Or "Financial reports are audited." Even CMC was audited for all those years when funds were being diverted to Jersey island.

Or "the company has become more efficient, as indicated in the financial reports." Wajamaneni, ever heard about an accounting strategy where expected future revenue is booked now to fatten the books? Or an expenditure is postponed to be booked in the future so as the PBT and PAT look good now?

Also, saying that bloggers don't know what Book Value is hillarious just to say the least. This firm own books are the one that show us that the NAV is less than 1/- and less than 0.8/- exclusive of goodwill per share. And would you also tell us the reason why i would pay 6 times the NAV for a firm whose bosses have parrallel companies engaged in the same business???? Conflict of interest?? What was the price before listing by the way?? What was the share structure before listing and how is it now??? Dumping???

Next project they have is the Kikwetu project (Machakos), where they want to build 100,000 houses, +60km away from Nairobi. They can build, but selling is the key issue. Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly.

Instead of breathing hot air here provide something concrete against Home Afrika...

All wazuans are getting from you are "oh this company is like Olympia and sameer blah blah blah.... oh it will be delisted in two years nye nye nye....."

I can say you and some others just sound like bitter old investors who've gotten burnt by the market one time too many!

Let this company first announce extra huge losses.... Let one of the housing projects first fail.... Let the management perform badly first.....

After all of this then @obiero, @VVS and @dunkang will sound more reasonable in their hate speech!

But to dismiss a company ONLY because the share price has fallen is amateur, naive, and plain incompetent Sad

@Guru a seasoned investor like yourself knew what you were getting yourself into... pure speculation. No one to blame but yourself. Take your losses like a warrior and hope for a quick recovery.
