KQ is acquiring assets using debt. Both are valid plans but a lot depends on variables that are not easy to control. The risk is much higher for KQ which has to expand its footprint, staff levels, etc to ensure the planes are used as much as possible in an environment where tourism can drop due to financial problems/unemployment, high fuel prices, yo-yo currencies, instability common in many African countries, etc At this stage, I will go for KK.
