The way these fellows are pivoting towards HFCK, there must be something! The latest is Kimani Ichung'wa!! Just bought 138m worth of HFCK shares.

Might they be planning something with Affordable Housing Cash and Deals???

Disclaimer: Sometimes these fellows also get things terribly wrong. I remember Ndindi Nyoro selling 11.78 million KPLC shares at 16.5m shillings this January. Those shares today (only 8 months later) would be worth 132m!!! Anyone who followed him in selling imagining he had inside information got burned to recognition or at the very least left a humongous amount of money on the table!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Might the current HFCK rally be proudly sponsored by the Kimani Ichung'wa news leading increased demand or there is something almost coming out of the oven??

Cheers @vvs.. I'm looking to add my KQ if price falls below KES 5.. Fair value remains KES 8.68

HF could test KES 12 ceteris paribus

I am wondering

Why is HFCK price on sharp rise in the past few days whereas her HY is not yet out?

Anyone please ?

Book value is KES 8.57. It is trading at a premium. Exchange bar dialogue reveals that SBIC have expressed interest to purchase HFCK

There is a fellow called Kimani Ichung'wa. Google him (Kenyans know him). He is the Presidents errand boy and supposed right hand man of sorts. He bought quite a number of shares in HFCK and people might imagine he knows something we don't.

This fellow @Young.

Another connected fellow (former KRA Chair) had earlier bought 1.6 Billion worth of HFCK shares! People in some quarters suspected he was a conduit for someone else. And they even believe they know who the someone else is. Not many people can be pulling 1.6 Billion transactions on a single share so the list of "suspects" is very small.

Conduit or no conduit, no one just pumps 1.6 Billion into one stock just like that. There must be something. Procedural/fundamental or otherwise.

Thanks @maichBlack and bwana @obiero .
A lot of miracles in NSE beyond fundamentals.

I am yet to understand why KPLC rose from 8 to 11 bob and the twin KENGEN from 5 to 7 bob in a short time without any news or earnings report.

It will not be a suprise if KENGEN touches 9 and KPLC 14 bob before end of the year , though their FY earning report is in late oct.
