even with peaceful conclusion of election the rally lasted only for two days supported by only few counters with
very weak demand, what is happening?
There are only two emotions in the stock market, fear and hope. The problem is, you hope when you should fear and fear when you should hope

Nothing is happening only that the incoming leader's past history does not inspire any confidence.
The road ahead will be long and hard akin to the Moi years.
Promotion to the highest level of incompetence is what elections in KE, and i guess the rest of Africa, is all about. Look at the crooks the masses have taken to parliament!
The stock market is a sophisticated market(not a fish market) and only works and flourishes where the Formal sector, and not the Informal sector thrives.

A certain politician (I won't Name Names is stocking up on KPLC. Not that I trust politicians so much but I can't help but feel something is up. Is there a reason why politicians are buying this 'dead' stock?

I am also confused. I was expecting around a 20% profit then I exit. But with all this noise out here this thing might hit ksh2.00 in a few days. The stock is being hyped so much on fb and twitter streets.

One thing is for sure.
There will be no dividend declared
Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation
Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle

Yet if they declared just 10cents per share it would cost them only 195 million - peanuts for a company that will probably report more than 5B net profit.
Announcing even this puny dividend will go a long way in signalling a change in fortunes to shareholders, which will in turn be great for share price.

Surely they can afford 195M - no matter how tight things are.
