Something positive from the red side of Manchester - a wonder goal from Rooney that left Beckham and son clasping their mouths and catapulting Rooney to the 3rd all time highest scorer for Man Utd....

Now to the small matter of the Manchester derby...

Arsenal lost to Stoke and A villa (not exactly big teams) and drew with WBA who are relegation bound.
Am not sure about FA cup anymore having lost to minnows (Bradford, Birmingham) in recent past. Arsenal. will start winning trophies again only if Wenger leaves in summer.

Did you check who else lost to Villa and Stoke, or what you call 'not exactly big teams'. At times its good to do some research before posting.

I didn't because that was besides the point. My point was that Arsenal can still capitulate against Wigan or Hull city in the FA cup. Going with your logic,Wigan beat Man city.

@Kaka it was your logic so don't try to twist it ati its someone's else logic and as you correctly say Wigan also beat Man City. So any team can beat another though it will not happen all the time. and yes Arsenal have mental block against those teams away from home.

The UK press & pundits usually blow every loss the Gunners suffer out of proportion, like i said Sato's result was embarrassing but it does not define our season or form. Chelsea lost against A. Villa recently but the reaction after that match was quite different from Arsenal's loss at Stoke.

@Kaka2za.....i really don't get your point, all the top three teams have also dropped points against the small teams. You also seem to forget that in the FA cup we've knocked out Spurs, L'pool and Everton, its not like we had an easy ride to the semis. We might have a mental block against Man Utd and Chelsea (kama Man City with Wigan) but i do not see why we should be worried about Wigan.

Arsenal have won their two appeals against Gibbs wrongful dismissal and Ox red card....it was never a red card offence. What's surprising is that the ref has not been punished by the FA.

Have they released the names of those who will officiate over the Weekend?

Manchester Derby....no expectations. I really don't want Mourinho to win the league but I also don't want City to beat us at home. Damned if you do, damned if you don't...nkt!
