While SAF said we give Moyes time....
I on the other hand already thinks Moyes is a small-mid table team manager...
So far I have not seen any tact from him in utilizing the current squad. Nor has he made any effort to strengthen it....
SAF was a great manager with Average players in all departments in fact 98% of the Manutd team players are average...but SAF got the best of them.
Moyes on the other had looks clueless, looks overwhelmed, awed by the fact that he is in Manutd. He needs to wake up and get things sorted.
To start with the recent run of games...why on earth is he playing the likes of Giggs and Young...yet we have Kagawa...(who he said will start but did not even make the bench yet Rooney was injured?) I would never have had issues with him playing Zaha and Adnan J and we lost...but to go with Giggs and Young who have been tried and tested to be ineffective just tells me alot about the new manager....am no pessimist but with the path Moyes is taking we should prepare for turbulent times ahead...5th place perhaps?

NB: I respect all past contribution from Giggs, but surely there comes a time. And Moyes needs to know how to use him if he really must continue being player/coach.

Applause Applause Applause

I couldn't have put it better myself.

In the past, when Utd were added 5 minutes, there was a general feeling that we'd equalize or win and most teams feared added time for Utd. Yesterday as I watched that game, there was no feeling whatsoever that Man Utd would threaten in any manner whatsoever, unlike the North London derby where Spurs looked like they'd score any time. The players just didn't look hungry! There was no sense of urgency and that for me was more worrying than the lack of any worthwhile tactics from Moyes.

I saw the players at the bench look at Moyes when he was pacing about the touchline na nakwambia hapo iko sinda - I hope to be vindicated by some transfer deadline buys and good results against Palace and City. Another loss for Moyes this early would be too much to recover from

My biggest worry as a United fan is Moyes dragging us to mid table status. The liverpool game was an eye sore. Giggs is too old, Young is not worth the amount we paid for him (he had two really awful corners), Nani isn't improving in any way. Cleverly needs to step up or be demoted to team B, Vidic needs to be left out in all future liverpool matches.
The midfield kept passing the ball backwards so irritatingly instead of having a go at liverpool.

Sometimes I think we would have been better to break the bank this transfer period by getting in a proven midfield class act to give service to RVP and also sell some non performing players. I agree with you that SAF got the best out of average players, as currently playing they look so ordinary.

I am not excited by the news of Fellaini...
I am dismayed by the performance of Moyes and Ed Woodward during this transfer window...
Either it's inexperience or incompetence or both...
From waiting until the last minute (in the case of Fellaini) to dealing with importers (in the case of Herrera) to fluffing paper work ( in the case of Coentrao) What in the world is happening, this is one of the biggest clubs ever such mundane dealings should be unheard of...Pray
