@ alma - I can confirm the following are who they are - and I base this on how certain posts resonate with what I saw at various events where we have met - mainly Mbuzi events but for some I have met at other non-Mbuzi events and some are now my FB buddies...
So they are:
1 - McReggae
2 - Kingfisher
4 - Leona
5 - Vision2030
6 - Wanyuru
7 - RicDees
8 - brav (and Mrs Brav and bravlets)
I can't say I know Wendz - though at one of the mbuzi's, one of the above indicated Wendz was present...so, maybe I know her - maybe not. Or maybe one of the above wanted to mislead me.
Nonetheless, looking at her posts and the wisdom in all of them, and how she is so level-headed, I can confirm she is not a scammer/or con person. She is a good person.
And yes there was a death of Eddy for sure and the fund raising was GENUINE. No question about that.
What is unclear is the post by "Fast & Furious" where he alleged he had 3 months to live - and also how that threat unfolded. At some point someone said the message was not meant to be factual but more like a wake up call to those that squander opportunities in life/their health and wealth/etc.
My position at that time was that it was in poor taste to write such a thread when it turns out it was misleading. And I said as much if you care to re-read that long thread.
Also it is very possible that someone masqueraded as F&F at some point or at one of the events. Some proof here - pls see the below link started by @Mukiha

also please see post #7 by Wanyuru - it confirms that the person who claimed to be F&F at an Mbuzi event was not a joker...also post #27).
So perhaps Eddy passed himself off as F&F? Or F&F's account was hacked at a later stage? We do not know...maybe Wazua Admin can confirm when the last time the account was used...etc etc. Thats all academic at this stage.
One other thing - I can confirm that at two of the Mbuzis I have met people who said they were: surealligator, albertross,mdosi, CLK, Brianne, pablo, xtina...I think I trust CLK, xtina, mdosi to be who they are...there was also a sukuma...and that I did not believe...

from post #166 - the aftermath of a mbuzi. These sort of confirms the names I have listed above...so were real...some were not.
The long and short of this, especially for the newbies and the kazi bures - Wendz is genuine. There was a fund raising. It was not a scam. Her name should not be besmirched. 
Neither should Kingfishers' name be called into question.
