So whistle blowing does pay. A citigroup employee spilled the mortgage fraud committed by the employer and now stands to earn $31 million. The employer couldn't just pay $1 million to buy the employee's silence. What a shame to this bank for not 'practising' the banker's code of conduct of silencing whistleblowers. Soon more whistlers to pop up and spill out the unravelling (since 2008) US mortgage fraud and get paid to boot...
