Ruiru is definitely nearer Nairobi than Kakuzi, and even with direct frontage on the Thika-Nyeri Road, I still think you will get to CBD faster from Ruiru than from Kakuzi.

WTK's share of Williamson building is indeed significant, but that is a bonus as they make quite enough from simply growing and processing tea!

As for Merali, yes, that is one wily character!

@g267. I have 100 shares of Kakuzi which allows me to get their reports but that is it.

I opted to buy into WTK and Limuru Tea and have at times dabbled in Sasini, although I remain wary of the main shareholder. On the other hand Eaagads was simply a lucky buy. Saw it on the board one day and asked myself why not?

I consider WTK to be far superior to Kakuzi, which I have continued to stay well clear off. Please convince me why I should consider Kakuzi.

VVS and mwanahisa, if Merali was not the majority shareholder of Sasini, would you buy into the company?

@mwanahisa i'm very sure that Kakuzi, WTK, and Kapcorua have equal fundamentals with neither being stronger than the other...

I only opted for Kakuzi since I'm only allowed to invest heavily in the Main segment of the market but please they are all very much the same to me..

Though I wouldnt be caught dead buying sasini...

I wonder if @pkmm = @qw ????

Laughing out loudlyLaughing out loudlyLaughing out loudly Funny thing is I was about to suggest the same. But that would mean he is pretty messed up in the head (3 different personalitiessmile) Do you remember his alter ego, Capital Markets Geek?[/quote]

@youcan'tstopusnow,

FYI, I'm not @qw nor do I know who Capital Markets Geek is, further, I have no inclination to look-up who these characters are. Surely, a number of folks here were of the opinion that Kapchorua is a subsidiary of WT, semantics or choice of terminology aside, we may have used the wrong terminology but that hardly warrants such kind of diarrhea from you ...

I did respond to @VVS and wrote-

"@VVS, what was I thinking! I'm sure others owe a few shares of kapchorua, and hence there is NO way WT can own 100% kapchorua, your point well taken ..."

Despite my response, you want to rubb it in, rubbing it in is what in my books is sick mentality.

I have NOT been on this board leave alone this thread since the SK hey days, my handle was pm, and it has been such a long time I could not remember my password/ the SK handles were deleted, hence the new ID @pkmm. These two are the ONLY ID's I've had here, and I rarely frequent here ... only to come back to meet with a crown like you.

@pkmm - Don't get stressed! Have fun & go with the flow!

BTW, I like both Kapchorua & Williamson... These will remain farms (no Tatu City deals for them!)
