My elementary understanding of law tells me that to make a case for murder you need to show only 2 things: Mens rea and actus reus and murchr has just clearly stated the the 2 in his statements above.

I know you tycho is arguing just for the sake of it but we shall see what the IO comes up with. In Trumpland, England and elsewhere, if someone attacks you in your own home you have the right to shoot them in the head and no questions will be asked. How was wangui supposed to respond when confronted with a knife in her own home?
