These fellas should both hire PR companies to control damage so far done. They have now gone lower into petty issues and the media is taking all these and feeding the masses.

MOTOR dealer CMC yesterday asked its shareholders to ignore an ongoing exercise by Andy Forwarders to nominate proxies to vote in an upcoming extra ordinary general meeting. CMC chairman Joel Kibe said the exercise is in futility because the EGM, which was initially supposed to take place on Monday 21, has since been called off by the High Court.

Thorough a notice to shareholders in newspapers yesterday, former chairman Peter Muthoka, through Andy Forwarders, the largest shareholder at the listed motor firm, argued that even though the Monday meeting had been suspended by the courts, the ruling does not affect preparations for the EGM which will now be held at an unknown date. "We are advised that this ruling does not affect preparations of the EGM, " Muthoka said in the notice. "In particular, the closing date for the return of the proxies to Image Registrars Ltd," Muthoka argued.

Is someone after the life of a prominent businessman and former chairman of a listed motor company that has made headlines lately? The man was spotted driving from the Sankara Hotel in a top-of-the-range car. Following closely behind him was a chase car with two mean-looking men dressed in black suits. "Kwani amekuwa waziri?" quiped a man who noticed the controversial businessman's antics.

Similar problems elsewhere

The losses were hidden through an intricate scheme that diverted cash through a Cayman Islands account. Police in several countries are still investigating the transaction -- so far, no one has been arrested in the scheme.

Olympus faced possible de-listing from the Tokyo Stock Exchange for filing fraudulent accounts related to the massive cover-up of losses from bad investments from the 1990s the company has kept off its books.

The furor following the firing of former Olympus CEO Michael Woodford in October and his subsequent turn as whistleblower on the decades-long cover-up, saw the stock value of the Japanese camera and medical instruments maker drop more than 75% at the height of the crisis. Three other top executives lost their jobs in the wake of the controversy, and officials in Japan, the U.S. and the UK are investigating possible criminal wrongdoing.

Did someone say the corruption vice was started and is sustained by mzungu bustards?
By inference, the man is all that Mr Phantom is not: an untrustworthy radical, divisive, too many enemies, a dictator, and a persistent liar...

Don't blame the wazungu for your problems. Kwani, were you forced to copy the scams? That stupid argument has been used by Kenyan politicians & thieves to JUSTIFY the corruption in Kenya since 1963 starting with kenyatta & friends then moi & friends and now kibaki & friends.
