There is actually nothing like best broker. I say that because there is no benchmark to base our judgement on.
We are all making our decisions based on emotions and tend to 'pigia debe' our various stockbrokers purely because of customer satisfaction.

I stick with cfc, i have jamaas who speak sheng and i find it good because we speak "lugha ya mtaa" the buy orders are pronto! So 4 now am sticking with Cfc.

"lugha ya mtaa". This is as good a reason as any. The second point on buy orders being pronto appears to be an afterthought. LOL!

In my book one broker is as good as the next as long as they are financially sound. Online links help, but have you ever tried ammending an order online at CSFS during trading hours?

no actually the second option was not an after-thought, and renegade, you CANT amend an order during trading hours, unless you get an authority from the admin who happens to be the CFC equity traders!! i dont know why, i think its because it would bring a lot of confusion, you change, this hour, you change the next, and it becomes choas, ama?d'oh!

the most efficient stock broker is YOU . Believe it or not.You are your investment analyst,stock broker and financial advicer.so quite leanin on a 20 something year old management trainee put there that doesnt have a clue as to what a bull or bear market rally is and all he is concerned is his/her commision as your broker.

@qw,
How is that possible? You cannot be your own stock broker, period! CMA is there to make sure you don't do that. I think this thread is about a reliable broker and not a financial or investment advisor.

BBI will solve it

@ 2012 . u got it all wrong . when is ay that you become your own stock broker i mean.You aquite yourself w/ all the fundermental information that affect the stocks you are holding.I really pit those so called investors who come crying here at wazua that they made a loss here and there coz ( u guessed it) they listened to their broker - A 20 something college grad who gives a damn about nothing but his/her commission.If i were to ask them if they have ever read the financial statement of the stocks they hold. i am sure i'd get allot of blank stares.
WAZURIANS in the spirit of investment GET TO KNOW YOUR STOCK. Which language do you want me to use ????????

How fast should a good broker execute a client's order?This is an important benchmark coz time can mean reduction of profits.Equity takes 3 working days

On that then I'm with you. But I think it's more of being your own researcher and investor than broker. A stock broker to me is like a bank teller. You don't ask a teller what to do with your cash when withdrawing now do you?

equity does not take 3 working days to execute an order, it depends on the mkt. three working days is the period which an order is valid. after that you place your order again. take note that equity is not a broker n it depends on brokerage firms.
