You know what guys, this guy Kisia is only good at bettering his poor wife cann't run dumn thing not even his own home. He should have been fired when he contracted a private company for hundreds of millions of shillings to do a head count for employees of the city coucil.

We should not compare running homes with running of institutions, we have all seen how difficult running homes can be. Just take a cursory look at some very senior politicians and you will bear me witness.

I agreed and still agree with Mudavadi's statement then that we should value the institution and not individuals. If Gakuo could do it then someone else competent should be able to. The problem was with getting the competent person who understood how the Council worked and had the clout political and otherwise to stand up to the Council and run the damn city. Kisia unfortunately was not that person. How was he even appointed in the first place? Was it a competitive process?

When Khisia takes office and finds all of Gakuo's people still entrenched, success will definitely prove elusive!

Those are excuses. All new CEOs find the previous CEOs people in all senior positions. It's their duty to replace the ineffective staff since their success at the helm is depends on successful implementation of his/her policies and that's why I respect eabl's CEO, Adetu.
It's not personal, it's business, get rid of the deadstock before it gets rid of you.

BBI will solve it

That is something Khisia wouldn't have dared, all those guys speak the same language. You saw how they zushad sometime back when a certain political party took many of the so-called "good positions" at city hall

@Nostoppin',
Post some sense.......and justify why he earns or else you should demand he resigns immediately.You cannot pay an employee to cower.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

In that case then it's clear he's decided on which is more important between his stomach and his reputation. Don't be surprised if a silly, stupid, cheap, penny mbili scandal with no legs or hands hits him and ruins him forever. Remember Mwalimu Mati of Transparency International?

Unfortunately, very few of these appointees know anything about performing or have shame in collecting a huge salary without doing jack.
I find that we have very few Gakuos; Bitengos or Michukis in Kenya. Why?

This has guy has not performed and in my opinion Gakuo was much better. If the going is tough for him, then he should resign. He may have performed well at KICC but at city hall it is a NO for me. Gakuo had done so much for the city, this guy is no match. We need Gakuo back if we cannot get a better replacement.

Actually with the situations as it is (his non-performance), he should actually resign and they put a pro-city hall cartels guy at the helm...then we might actually see a gakuo-style change

I can't believe some people here are making excuses for this dude... Kwani Gakuo didn't find some entrenched pigs feeding off the council?? He did, but he found the best way to work around it and still deliver.. That's what we need.

It is actually dishonest to serve in a position where you know you're not adding value yet you're earning a salary. He should quit..

.. and please people, you get rid of people who are NOT working. you don't bring in replacements for the persons who are performing unless they're retiring.. and even then if cost/benefit analysis shows that they should stay, you convince them to stay..
