IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Restrictive Trade Practices, Monopolies and Price Control Act, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance authorizes the acquisition of Chevron Kenya Limited by Total Outre Mer SA on condition that Total Outre SA shall within 14 months -
dispose of Chevron’s Kenya Limited LPG filing centre at Nairobi;
conclude a Throughput and Filling Agreement at one of the Mombasa LPG filling centres operated by Total Kenya Limited or Chevron Kenya Limited with another person having no such other facilities in Mombasa;
dispose of up to twenty-five centum of its shares in the Mombasa lubricants blending plant or conclude a blending agreement with another person having no such other facilities;
dispose of up to twenty per centum of Total Kenya’s Limited interests in the tripartite Joint-terminal facilities in Mombasa;
dispose of Total Kenya Limited or Chevron’s Kenya Limited current interests into-plane operations and storage facilities in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi and Moi International Airport, Mombasa;
dispose of Chevron’s Kenya Limited into-plane operations and facilities in Lokichogio;
dispose of Chevron’s Kenya Limited bulk storage facilities in Kisumu; and
dispose of the following retail stations-
Chiromo Caltex, Waiyaki Way, Nairobi:
Nyota Caltex, Waiyaki Way, Nairobi;
Caltex Ngong Road, Nairobi;
Total Kangundo Road, Nairobi.
Total Likoni, Mombasa;
Total Makupa, Mombasa;
Caltex, Mtito Andei Town;
Total Chania, Makongeni Area, Thika;
Caltex Yatta-Matuu Town;
Caltex Sheikh Mohammed Ali, Garissa Town;
Caltex Ruruma, Nyeri Town;
Caltex CMC, Meru Road, Nanyiki;
Total Isiolo, Isiolo Town,
Caltex Suere, Ol Kalou Road, Nyahururu;
Total Elburgon, Elburgon Town;
Total Litein, Litein Town;
