thanks pple. i installed opera mini 3.1.2 and it works perfectly well. i love sk!

Dudes,im so grateful of this site,I can browse the entire day n spend less than 10bob.....sounds like magic eh?. This opera s*** works so effectively,any site opens so fast....cheers

also give a try to safari browser (dont scream too loud)

can safari browser work on nokia phones or is it only for the iphone?

Point your browser to mini.opera.com and download opera mini 4.1 works on java enabled phones. In to menu,tools,settings and uncheck download images. Start browsing.

kumbe stockskenya is still alive? i've not been able to access it from my genuineN95 nokia since wednesday last week.
@sk admin,this site is not accessible from phone using operamni or any other browser. please do something

BIG time wolapas,
has been having issues sorting out discussions by Originator' and/or topic or else at SK discussions database. How about SK giving a user-friendly fast enough search tool for past discussion topics may be by originator/topic? or any one feels this facility already exists?guide me please.

same problem here.I could not access any site using opera mini throughout the weekend.seems like safcon have disabled opera mini????.even the a search through safcon cool links gives '000000000' and pictures only no text.Mj hope you are also reading this

i started this thread about SK not opening thro opera mini last week.
SK admin deleted the thread. am suprised this one escaped his/her eye. maybe they thought i didnt know what i was talking about

I kinda figured out the problem though. so,incase sk admin is not aware.

it appears as though their host is timing out when accessed from international servers. when the site is accessed from local servers,it goes through ok. i started noticing this after seacom,so maybe this is a configuration problem after seacom.
sometimes last week this problem was occuring like in the evening after 7PM. lately its like the whole day.

When you open a website thro opera mini,in actual sense,opera servers(based in norway),get the content,and reformats its for your particular phone(screen size+ plus other settings).

Thus when accessing SK thro opera mini,you are accessing the site thro international servers.

SK's current host,is the IP 195.202.64.249,other sites that use this host are www.kbc.co.ke or www.dtdobie.co.ke. check this site for more. http://onsamehost.com/195.202.64.249/

this IP is owned by uunet.co.ke. all other sites on this IP are not going thro as well.

SK admin,demand ur money's worth from UUNET

- Which browser/ version you're currently using
- Which pages you're not able to access (if its not a problem with the whole site)
