And its more enjoyable for both the captain and the aeroplane to be landed early in the morning or during a misty weather.Because the colder and heavy air makes the landing to be stable and last longer all the way to the end of the runway.

Standard aeroplanes land best in wet conditions but are unable to release triggers to cause same where runway is dry.
The more advanced and sopisticated ones are able to trigger automatic moisture.Note, the latter do not require runway lights and are more often than not on auto-landing.
They do however cause lots of noise polution
in most airports

Noise pollution is not acceptable in some airports.Shame on you Shame on you Shame on you
So every pilot has to carefully select his a/c and note the type of air port he is scheduled to do the landing.Too slippery runway may make landing tricky and messy.

Come to think of it .. How would one feel as a pilot fying super mambo A380, you want to make an emergency landing ASAP then you're denied landing clearance say at wilson when you have just lowered the landing gear?? man that would be painful!!

@mondisto,
There comes a time when the gears must touch down even if landing is denied.A good pilot will use his negotiating skills and good English if possible.It also depends on the length of the flight.
For instance if the aeroplane have been flying all this long then landing is a must even if it means destroying the aeroplane.
