You are not serious; are you? So how does your portfolio look like/ You don't have to list actual numbers - percentage holdings will do. Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Having been around for so long, I put very little new cash these days... I'm also not very far from official retirement age! I'd say 75% of my purchases are from profiteering. Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

I'd say 75% of my purchases are from profiteering. LOL... 'official' retirement age! I like the term but I am sure you have many more years & ventures left! Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

you should only put only truly surplus money into stocks...period The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

Keep going and one day you will be rich. But do try not to trade stocks too often. Buy quality stocks and hold on to them for the long term. @qw Try and achieve balance. Mukiha, then penye wazee hapaharibika mambo. looking forward to learning from your years of experience in stock investment by reading your posts. Am relatively young and since i dont have a lot of expenses, am planning to start investing 30% of my pay every month in stocks. What you think about that.

I am growing my modest funds at the exchange so that I can afford real estate. @All My holding is ARM 43%,Mumias 24%, Equity 18%, both Scangroup and Safcom @ 2% each and YES Uchumi 11%. When we wake up in the morning, we have two simple choices. Go back to sleep and dream, or wake up and chase those dreams. The choice is yours! .

Pole bro. That is a very sad state of affairs. And for your info, this does not apply to all ladies. But you are already 'happily' married so you'll just have to deal with it. LOL. Back to stocks... Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
