@Gekko.... Pardon my ignorance. KENOL and Kenya Oil is the same entity??

Also, please expound on what kind of acquisitions that KENOL is planing on taking over. AT leat i haven't heard anything from the main stream media.

To distract guys from KenolKobil a bit, i have some NBK shares which to be completely honest i have no idea how to react to the 2 for every 5 shares held bonus issue. I dont want to be caught out so i thought of raising the issue here. Does anyone know when those two bonus shares will start trading at the NSE? And even more important would it be wise to keep them and ride the ups and downs which are certian to follow?d'oh!
Don't gamble; take all your savings and buy some good stock and hold it till it goes up, then sell it. If it don't go up, don't buy it...

I already got the NBK statement online and noted that they'll give the bonus to those in their books at the close of business on 9th April. Is there any broker who can be able to quickly get rid of NBK on 10th April at a not too high loss before it starts reflecting the bonus?

Sorry @VVS, i never saw a thread on NBK so i decided to ask the question here ... in didnt intend to confuse anyone by it, just to seek some advice thats all ...
