@ djinn: Lakini there must be more than 3,000 people annually (just in Nairobi) who can afford the surgery!

Then we have Mombasa,etc... I think the jamaa has cut himself a nice niche...

@VVS - yes,could be more than 3,000 - but 2 things - its a one off thing (not like buying glasses) and its not suitable for all - I think its more about looks than function....which is why,while more could afford it,perhaps looks matters less to them (or they prefer the intellectual look)...my two zlotys.

Does this thing work for cataract? What if one has other conditions eg aneamia, diabetetes etc.?
