1/4k an acre in katani 8KM from Mombasa road is going for about 700k at the moment. Whatever you do,if you get a plot that you can afford,grab it quick because the longer you take,the more you will not believe how the prices will rocket over the next few months. I have watched that area grow over the last 10 years and with each passing year the prices seem to double year on year. Grab a piece of the action while you can otherwise you will wonder why you didn't when you could have. I know someone who is selling an acre for 2.3M

Tap water while its raining or simply make hay while the sun is shining. Its got to be one of the two!

Chini kwa chini,there is talk if Syokimau - Katani road getting tarmacked soon.
This would obviously send property rates around there,to the skies.

Got a piece that slightly over 1/2 and acre about 2.5km from Msa rd and 50M from the main syokimay - katani rd would like to sell quikly. The agents around there are selling at about 650k an eighth. Would actually consider anything over 2M depending on payment terms.

You are right. B. Timer. The prices will rocket. There are quite a few developments earmarked for Katani apart from the schools which are also in the area,The grapevine says the catholic church intends to build a big hospital on Katani/utawala road. Perhaps the bigger question to ask is what has the catholic church seen in the area that has made them invest so heavily there over the last few years.? Have a thoughtful time smile

@All,

Got this 1/4 acre piece around syokimau/katani area (not sure the right name to give it). Around 3KM from MSA road. The piece borders JKIA,just immediately after the proposed road. It's going for 500K (clean title deed,clean deal),do you guys think this is a good buy? The access road is not fully developed but there are several guys who have already developed their plots,elec is 200M from the piece of land,water too.

@Mutes,

Before I part with my cash I've to check with the authorities whether the land is on road reserve or not. Obviously one has to check these things otherwise your hard earned cash inapotelea kwa hewa just like that!

Thanks for the advise.
