For once this parliamentary term Imanyara appears to be doing something more serious than picking fights with the First Family.
On immunity of the president,I think it boils down to whether we want a president who has been investigated and found liable to prosecution to continue being our president. If he is not the president then we can prosecute him even under our current law giving him immunity. The issue therefore should be whether indictment should not be a ground for resignation and loss of office for all suspects including the president as well as ministers, police commissioner and some of whom have security of tenure, like the AG. It is not about immunity of the president (though that is headline grabbing) but whether people should continue holding office. I have serious reservation in ministers who may be suspects in published reports of repute sitting in cabinet to decide on their fate. Ditto MPS.
