It helps. A lot. I worry about transport cost though. I am in Kiambu. It may not make sense to go all the way....as compared to buying from the hardware guys in the area.



How about the beautiful yellow stone? Usually hand chiseled.They look kinda soft Are they found in the same quarry?

@mmunguti I'm also doing some construction in Kiambu.. Which area are you operating from? I got foundation stones from ruiru kibendera @ 25 per feet and 5k transport.. hope it helps

I gather that there is a machine cut stones quarry at Maai Mahiu. Who knows more about this, prices, quality e.t.c?

@mmunguti if you are at Norbrook there is a good supplier of building materials at the junction on your to Nazareth hospital some few meters from Norbrook. He is an old hand at the biz and has been supplying people for may years.
