Just going through the balance sheet and I see there is a big jump nearly triple on the value of equity investments.
Seems the company last year was on a buying spree last year when shares were cheap.
Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation
Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle

Seen that too. I note that previously they've not been holding equities. Interesting move. Adding it to my watch list.

I think their portfolio on investment income was majorly on fixed deposits & govt. papers hence ripping on the high interest environment especially in Q4.

After the bonus I bailed out left around 10k shares then also reduced to 3.4k shares after proper analysis.. When it gets to 4/- and below I'll load up in bits for future.

CIC General contributing 65%, CIC Life contributing 27%, CIC Asset contributing 1% to the PBT
Investment in equity is informed by the soundness of the businesses we invest in
CIC will pay a dividend per share of 10.5 cents compared to the 10 cent in 2014.
Going Forward we are working to turnaround the Medical Business.
2016 we focus on individual life and pensions,Investment in technology to enhance customer service.
In 2016 we plan to grow by 30% on Medical Business. General Business average growth 15%

this stock is overvalued tena sana. I have a few units at average of 5.95. i can never pay more than 6bob for it. anything below my average price am in.
