Roho Safi "the Bold and the Beautifull" was huge those days. Must have been the first soap to hit the Kenyan TV scene.

As kids we were totally addicted even with the kissing scenes btn Ridge (RichLaughing out loudly Laughing out loudly ) and Brooke or caroline providing the occasional discomfort.

B&B was No.3.

The first two soaps hit our screens at around the same time. These were:- "NO ONE BUT YOU" and "THE RICH ALSO CRY".

I could be wrong but i think the first soap on Kenyan TV was "Dallas". Must have premiered on the then VoK in mid 1979 or early 1980.

Your right, couldn't get the sequence right but I certainly remember the ooh so beautiful Racquel.

@Njung'e, Dallas was before my time proper, what I remember about it is that it came long past my bed time.

The only 'soap' i enjoyed was knots landing with Greg Sumnar (sp)chasing women all over the place. Hizo zingine, i didnot like them kwanza that Wild Rose (b$%#@) the lady was too much causists for me. I never liked women who cause drama!!!
