Locusts punishment due to corruption and rotten society. Proverbs 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Agreed, corruption in Kenya is a vice that is out of control and needs to be dealt with. However suggesting that the locust invasion, is due to the corruption in the country is a bit exaggerated. The pastor ( Rick Wiles) in the clip is known to make very outrageous allegations. Wikipedia LinkRick Wiles Quote:is an American far-right conspiracy theorist, non-denominational senior pastor at Flowing Streams Church in Vero Beach, Florida,[2] radio host and pundit. He is the founder of TruNews, a website that promotes racist, homophobic, Islamophobic and antisemitic conspiracy theories. Quote:TruNews is known for promoting racist and antisemitic conspiracy theories. TruNews frequently described President Barack Obama as a "demon from hell". Obama, he claimed while the former President was in office, was the "jihadist-in-chief" who was "waging jihad against the United States from inside the White House" and murdered Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia as a "pagan sacrifice".

What are locusts and why are there so many of them right now?Quote:A type of grasshopper, they generally live shy, solitary lives. And they can continue this unremarkable existence for years. But every now and then, desert locusts undergo a Jekyll and Hyde transformation. Quote:When desert locusts begin to group together, a brain chemical called serotonin is released into their bodies, triggering a series of changes in their appearance and behaviour. The insects not only change colour, becoming brighter, but also get faster, more hungry and extremely sociable. Once in this "gregarious" phase, locusts actively seek out the company of their fellow insects, start reproducing explosively, and form groups that can develop into huge marauding swarms. Quote:These huge swarms can contain up to 10 billion individuals and stretch over hundreds of kilometres. Quote:Such ravenous swarms are now building up across East Africa, Yemen, Iran, Pakistan and India - and the area has been warned to be on "high alert" by the FAO.
Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia, which have already experienced the worst swarms of locusts in decades, continue to face an "unprecedented threat", the FAO says. There is also a risk they could spread to West Africa.
