although I support this no right turns I think Bunyala should be maintained as a U turn, the current will take more traffic towards town, if guys adapt by friday then all will be good, but I predict resistance like a guy complaining that he is being made to pass through a slum ( south B) while going to his karen home.

Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

What if we give it a chance and see how it goes? Looking at the situation now, the confusion is by drivers who are either surprised by the changes(they were caught unawares) and/or those who are not sure of which lanes to keep when going where...plus that small stupid issue of overlapping... Maybe once people are used and the flow is smooth without stopping it might sort out the jam, albeit in the short term. Maybe even the way the lanes are being done might change as experience teaches us better.

Yaani Kidero has plans of installing another....why not create a T-junction and install traffic lights to guide the traffic?

This is what is currently in place

This is what is expected, only possible with working traffic lights

Even with the new junctions, there will be chaos. I hope there will be markings on the road to show which direction the lane has to turn to and not done with water paint. Even in the current round abouts, there are no markings on the road . People turn so late and the 30 seconds delay of one vehicle multiply by several hundreds ,thats why you will en up several hours in the jam.
I saw people are even missing their flights d'oh! d'oh! . I hope there will be no traffic police to replace the lights on the new junctions. And pliz Nairobians pray that this works coz after the shynese traffic lights and CCTV cameras + city askaris traffic marshals there is still nothing to show in terms of traffic controls in Nai.
Ill be waiting for the post "traffic in Nairobi" to be revived come that day Laughing out loudly

The turn off to mombasa road at nyayo should be opened without hesitation. All vehicles heading to msa road from langata road are going through south c to find their way at pizza inn...oil lbya...The road was not meant for that heavy traffic

I think their is a U-turn hapo nyayo, at the former Bunyala Rounda.
Why do trhey need to go all the way to Pizaa inn?

I know adult literacy leaners understand better with illustrations. You cant do a right turn there. Refer to the map elsewhere. ..
