Basically at Utawala you take the tarmac road that branches off the Bypass and joins Kangundo Road past Ruai. Just thinking it could be that direction although that area is directly on the flight path from JKIA. @Gold,I highly doubt. All that area that you call plenty around Tamarind Embakasi is people's subdivided 40 x 80s though undeveloped. Maybe huko Katani, or towards ruai through Githunguri. @Am i agree with you. Well, lets wait and see. As for the amusement park, the vanes and funny looking cylinders are parts of wind power generation masts so it must be storage for one of the major wind power projects. And BTW its one of those cylinders that had fallen on Mombasa Road on transit from Mombasa and ended up blocking the highway for hours. Things will unfold so lets not speculate too much but mtu akipata kitu concrete on the industrial park, please share. I think I figured out. From Thika road heading downwards Just 100 Metres before the stone walled WONDER plot with Vanes and Tankers, look your left 300 metres Inside and see Kids Swings that look similar to the huge ones at the Uhuru park amusement park. That should possibly be the place... Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

That place with funny blades is very close to the Dandora Estate Sewage Treatment Works (D.E.S.T.W) well known as Ruai Sewage and during the hot days, those anaerobic ponds smell like like like like BURUKENGE. However, there is a proposed project to cover those anaerobic ponds and collect methane, so, the smell may subside in future. Also, the nearby Nairobi River doesn't do any justice to the area, smell-wise. Receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.” ― Rashi

who knows the exact location? These are the Google Earth coordinates 1°14'11.24"S 36°58'46.40"E for the location. The paper incorrectly refers to the place as "Utawala" www.infinityindustrialpark.com

Maybe that's what they were instructed to say. Shopping mall that is wind powered!! Askaris can say anything. I did some follow up and was told its a holding area for the Turkana Wind Power project. They manufacture some of the required items there while others are imported. They then assemble them and transport to Turkana. Seems to me to be the one on the left as you drive on Bypass towards Thika road from Ruai.
