It was all in the news last night.
A lawyer got his car towed by those junk rovers after a slight accident...he refused to pay KES. 9,000 towing charge and sued the police plus the "towing company"...he won the case.
He set a whole new precedence to us drivers.

As citizens of this country let us learn to stand and fight for what's right...


Most of us dont know our rights and those who think they know never bother to protect our rights.

I will half of all Kenyan drivers were lawyers, tungekuwa mbali pahali pazuri.

It's because of days of Moi...( I included) most people don't like to ruffle feathers especially against the system. When in court on flimsy charges... unaitikia tu! kesi iishe! Keep your head low and mind your business seems to be our national motto. our moral compass was distorted along time ago but I guess this is a glimmer of hope that we can still fight for our rights. On a related case - has anyone even seen the naswa/'pasua'/'jee ukipatwa' videos when a guy does something silly on a bench? Kenyans huwa wanajifanya hawaoni!

At the same time, Lady Justice Mumbai Ngugi, has stopped the Nairobi county govt from collecting rates from the residents of Karen. Case goes back to 1999 when the residents went to court and won against the city kanjo.

You can only charge residents if you meet your obligation of delivering services.

Now imagine if residents of Kitengela would do the same to the useless kajiado county.

someone should take Kanjo to court over security of our cars when we park them in town! Why should we pay for parking only to get our side mirrors and indicators missing?
