On accessing the porn site when connected to the internet using the Safaricom network, you are automatically redirected to safaricom 'safe haven'...and then to safaricom live.

I realized this a long time ago when i tried accesing sites to download mp3. Some sites which offer free mp3 downloads have been blocked compleately.
Safcom should block the porn but leave us to enjoy free music .

AMEN! Someone needs to read the Sermons thread. Its a sad day when someone outrightly proclaims on media that they watch porn... Is it even legal?

He represents thousands of young and elderly who heavily watch it but live in a life full of denial that they're not porn addicts. If watching it brings some fulfillment to one's sex life, let them be!

@Kanda-ya-moko: Just download CC Cleaner from HERE, completely clear caches & cookes with it, and retry accessing your favourite porn sites. You can also use freely available VPNs like Cyberghost.

If all fail, kindly report the matter at the nearest police station!!Shame on you

Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

Under which law are they blocking a website? Ama are we going to the path of moral censorship like in Iran?

Is there a law that talks about watching porn? Or looking at a porn site or a betting site?

What if they decide that they will slow down your access to their competitors sites?

I remember when Access Kenya had what they called the most trafficked website in Kenya. I have even forgotten what it was called. Yet the truth of the matter was that they had their systems set up such that when you logged into access, you logged into those websites.

I'm totally against internet censorship. It is something I believe should not be left to corporate big wigs who claim to be moral yet pay themselves 1000 times what they pay their employees for simply showing up in 2 meetings in their offices.

@K Y M

You sound like a young chap.

Here's my advice.. not originally mine though. It is from the one who designed and called all things into existence.

Porn is way more addictive than is admitted. Its consequences are way more far reaching than most hard drugs.

Porn goes hand in hand (no pun intended) with masturbation i.e detached sex.

By detached i mean sex with a non existent imaginary fantasy. Sex with that which is not.

I will give you one physical consequence which i hope will make you reconsider your habit.

Erectile dysfunction. A hot blooded seventeen year old using porn can be crippled by this.

How?

It all happens in the brain. I'll share a video to a ted talk so you can get the details from a scientist.

You are not ready to hear the spiritual consequences.

Watch this video fist.

Mtu Biz,

I read somewhere that they wanted to implement free wi-fi somewhere. Nakuru, I think.

"The youth will develop apps and use ICT to do business and combat serikali saidia mentality." They said.

Yeah, right!
