Seriously! Who could not prophecy that there would be groupd of people running into or out of Uhuru park?

Anyway lets wait for 19th July for him to take up thr challenge.

The 'ultimatum' elapsed, right? Where are the miracle healers to go help on Ebola outbreak?
Maybe this will touch their hearts since it seems Kenyatta Hospital cases are too minor to waste the 'men of God' time Sad Sad

Yes, let him prove to us instead of his fake stuff where he hires people to pretend that they have been healed!!!!!!

At least the Wazua 'doubting Thomases' now know the truth about this man. I remember we had so many defending the man. Let the other ignorant general public learn the hard way: own experiences.

@ham, do you mind debating with me through wisdom and good advice and argue together in the best manner? We can start another thread.

NB: Just through reason, scientific evidence, history, documented evidence... without calling people bigots, brainwashed, apes etc

Hehehe...
-You can start by letting us (Atheists/agonistic) know who created God/Allah.
- if those imported Religions were meant to all as they purport ; why didn't God manifest/come/send to our ancestors when those Saints/ messengers/ prophets were looming our planet. Unless he didn't know effects of his actions.

Two questions @ Nabwire.

1. How will attending the meetings help?

2. What's scary about the 'akorino'?

Religion has been painted as being Abrahamic, anything else is primitive. So Tokyo brings forth a valid point, why did the God of these Abrahamic religions not feel it necessary to spread the word in Africa too, at the same time that the word was spread in Arab and Western nations? Why did mere mortals aka missionaries have to be the ones to bring us the good news while raping the land? He raised valid questions.
I'm scared of the Mukorino coz they used to chase anyone in skirts, they considered it immoral. I would like to listen to what their ideology is. On a side note I have been to a "church" that mixed Christianity with animism, a very popular way of worshiping in Cuba, and I was scared stiff!! I think the closest to this is Lejo Maria in Kenya, but this was ten times scarier with chanting and being possesed.

So we have three atheists so far? @hamburglar, @tokyo and @nabwire. By the way I really admire you guys. Why? Because it means you've been thinking, you've been using your brain and you've refused to believe the kind of gods people are brandishing around Shame on you

I can deduce that you've also been meeting the wrong kind of people e.g. chanting men, skirt chasers etc.

You've attempted all that apart from one...

Ubaya yako ni kuropokwa, I am not an Atheist! I am however somewhat agnostic, I dont believe everything blindly like sheep, you may wanna try that smile that way you will see the absurdity of fighting your fellow African, defending an Arab man who most certainly would have taken you as a slave or worse, as a eunuch Sad

I understand the questions that you and @Tokyo are asking. And I also understand the fear you have about the Akorino and the jalejo. I have grown interacting with many African traditional religions and have shifted from childhood fascination to youthful disdain and now I have plenty of respect and support for these religious expressions. But even more importantly, I have come to understand the essence of authentic religious expression and 'tradition'. I can only encourage you to keep up the search and 'investigation'.

I think the questions posed by @Tokyo are more combative than inquisitive. The 'us' versus 'them' mentality and the feeling of being invaded seem to be high. But that's a weakness that should be overcome. I received lots of insight and inspiration from reading Ronald Laing's 'Politics of experience' and I'd recommend the book in case you haven't read it.

And then there's Socrates. His teachings are not only so African, but they are the keys to some, if not all of the questions perplexing us now.

As for chanting, all religion involves them, and sexuality and sexual expression are a constant 'headache'. It's all human. Perhaps all too human.

All humans think. And if there's a way of thinking that can be recommended for all, then that thinking must be beyond any one religion.

Tycho, unfortunately I have no interest whatsoever in Philosophy, my attention span does not allow it. I prefer the fast and irrational stock market. I will try to attend a Mukorino meeting as long as they dont expect me to wear those white long dresses

It's good that by now I have experienced too much self contradiction not just among the people I meet, but even in myself, to know that having some patience and love is important for a healthy life.

But maybe it's because every day I work on improving my attention span. It's curious how I've been under using my mind.

So the Akorino are also into shares? Ah! You're a tourist maybe.

I prefer to underuse my mind, I honestly dont understand why people read Shakespeare in order to be considered learned. I'd rather be unlearned, and use my mind in things that actually matter, like the stock market. I dont understand your last sentence
