40b profit would give it an earning per share of a bob, profit which they cant attain any time soon, now they are paying over 18b almost all profit as dividend.my soft feeling is that the next reporting is highly likely to be a profit decline. You better be sure of what you are saying! And when you are wrong, admit or let it go. Someone unearthing a post you made 2 years ago to show why what you are saying today is probably wrong - from your history - is not a joke. @murchr - Unearthing that single post is worth a thousand words! Nice!!! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Innovation is key here, how will safcom keep you spending your money though them, thats all. I can see where they are going next with all this fiber layout. The future can only be bright. mlennyma wrote:time me next year as the decline now comes. At least quantify your decline expectations. What threats do you see? E.g. Loss of business/sales, harsh mobile money price war, big M&A from another telco etc. What else could kill the cashflow? $15/barrel oil... wazua is all about personal opinions and if we were to witch hunt by retrieving posts so many hav had opinions which never came through. its not sinful if my view on safaricom two years back is still the same,it might not come to pass but iam entitled to it and I don't force murchr to buy my opinion...you must be very idle "Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning."

Agreed! True that. Let us not witchunt but educate each other roho safi! That is why i only take serious two opinions in this forum because theirs come complete with why? Others you read and digest but still research alot! In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins - cash and experience. Take the experience first; the cash will come later - H Geneen

I beg to disagree. Personal opinion ceases to be personal the moment you make it public. The moment you make it public, then be prepared to be interrogated, verified and made fun off. Again, your post was okay until you scripted the words "you must be very idle" which got me thinking. Murchr either has a system that enables him to search thread/posts by name and topic or he has a very good memory, both scenarios which scare me. Finally, I hold your right to post your opinion here sacred and will defend that right by all means.
