Mututho is doing a good job. He is protecting the well to do from death by ensuring they don't drive home drunk. He is also protecting them from wakora by ensuring bars are either closed early or you spend a night in a cell so that wakora don't get you. Those taking and selling illicit brews do not pay tax hence do not contribute to his salary and so don't need his services. They can all as well DIE! Who cares!! We can all see what a wonderful job Mututho is doing with Alcoblow. My drinks today are of high quality because he has taken the top manufacturers to task about their alcohol content. He is the best. Our president appointed him with the full knowledge of his capabilities. The silence from our two principals and Kenyan's shows that we all agree on the direction that Mututho has taken. Well done Mututho. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.Applause Applause Applause

Illicit brews have killed more Kenyans than terror!

The govt allows illicit alcohol to the poor so that they do not hold govt to account. It's a shame. Mututho should take responsibility and resign

See, this is one thing I have never understood about this country, when are we as a people ever gonna take responsibility for our own actions?
Why should Mututho resign because some fool somewhere made a CONSCIOUS decision to go and take illicit brew? Were there guns held to people's heads? I don't think so. You do the crime, you do the time.

Well said @Vallerie, we never want to take responsibility of our actions always wanting to blame someone else. That is Kenyans for you....
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.... Leo Buscaglia

How are we supposed to react in such instances?
because I feel like whipping instead of weeping.

You take illicit brews with knowledge and then blame. ok who's to blame?
If drunkards stop buying, the sellers will run out of biz and seek alternative ways of earning.

Just talk to the fellows when sober and hear how they glorify these death brews.
They are the same drunkards who don't give a damn about their families having turned their women into sole bread winners and their kids suffer.

They are the reason women from these counties take to the streets in protests every now and then before karma finally comes calling.

We have seriously sick people begging God for a chance to live while these ones go in search of death.
Even if they came back to life, you will find them in that karumaindo den the next day.
They are sick.

i wont rush to blame the dead; i think its a reflection of the disparities in income;you can easily profile to a specific income group the guys that died from this. none of them is midro crass. what gava forgets is that all of us kenyans not just midro crass need a booze but then they were happy enough to lump taxes on senator effectively becoming inaccessible to the low income groups. what did you expect? that the guys would stop boozing?
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
