That price gain is unsustainable. Does any one remember the Michael Douglas movie? "Wall Street ....Money Never Sleeps".
Its so easy to play on people's perception in an attempt to move the market forces in your favour.

There's a corporateannouncement to the effect that those 2 trades were completed in error and as such will not go through nor will they affect today's average price (VWAP) #source:MyStocks @SufficientlyP

Geez what the heck... NSE ATS experiencing the US market fat finger syndrome  Did someone "accidentally" enter 247 instead of 47...?? $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

@Angelica _ann, the 10% limit on this counter should actually be waived for about a week to allow descend to proper price.
Note the message from NSE today
Please note that the scangroup transaction at Kes 247.00 concluded on wednesday was in order and therefore settlement will proceed in accordance with the Trading Rules. Please also note that the 10% limit in Scangroup has been lifted in today's session.

From a very reliable source, it looks like stones have started rolling with the Ogilvy CEO being the first soon to be replaced by an American lady who's currently the MD of Ogilvy New York. That's huge! This simply says Cavendish are now taking over control.

I find Scangroup results peculiar due to earnings from special items ie valuations and revaluations of investments in related entities. The figures of receivables is also quite high compared to billings (I hope this is an Industry norm rather than a sign of unrecoverable debts). A positive is that the company is awash with cash approx KShs 2B. Life is short. Live passionately.

The stock will start rising after the dividends are paid. By August it might touch a high of 70.
