A few days ago and i was thinking that probably, the bomb laden vehicle wasn't going to storm the airport but rather was to be detonated on a ferry!!....i had to say a prayer!!. Meanwhile,we can wait for a demo by our muslim brothers.

@guka what came to mind was whether AK-47s were eventually given to pastors to protect their flocks.

The Imams have no flock to protect?

they burst into a church service near Mombasa, spraying the congregation with bullets, police said.

This is unacceptable and a direct attack.
@Serikali,do you want kenyans to take the law into their own hands and retaliate? because that is where we are headed?
If you don't tame and throw them out,the citizens will.
We are fed up.

This would be extremely dangerous...it is exactly what Shabaab wants people to do. Not able to get hold of guilty culprits, an angry Christian population will lash out violently at Muslims, most of whom have nothing to do with it and just want to live in peace. Truth is usually the first casualty of war; Deep wounds will be inflicted and the stage set for fertile circumstances for recruition and material support for Al Shabaab. @alphdoti is right when he says dont be quick to point fingers. What we don't need is the general coastal Christian and Muslim populations hating and attacking each other, it would be like Boko Haram in Nigeria, war on too many fronts, which you can see the Nigerian security apparatus is unable to contain.
The best thing is to let the spooks and the other security guys quietly neutralize these Shabaab elements as they have been doing.

I really wish we had many minds like @quicksand. Nobody wants these kinds of insecurity. Don't forget even Muslims are victims of such acts as you saw in the Westgate! As @quick said, we need to restrengthen interreligious dialogue. We need to be careful with the mindsets that are always quick to point fingers. This is a complex problem which as you know may have root at our country's role in Somalia.

So @guka and @kysse and others who have misconceptions and mistaken bitterness in their hearts should work on the mindset for the sake of our country. You're elite people who have interacted and leaned a lot about others and need to lead by example, otherwise what will the illiterate in the village think!
