urban coffee wouldnt have cost that much. neither is that small coffee place at the total petrol station at Nairobi West. People give up because they want to start up from the top. you can make it, it doesnt have to be a million dollar coffee shop, but you can get to that million dollar shop later.
Totally on point Wendz
A lot of these stories are usually made up to stop the competition.
Read the book, The Lean Startup.
You will be shocked at how very small startups are the ones that succeed vs the ones that start with 1 million dollars.
I have not been on Wazua for over a year. The depressing thing I have found is that very little has changed. These posts saying "tell me about this and that business, I want to start it" are all over the place with little thought or research having gone into this new "passion".
We only make it worse when we encourage the day dreamers to dream big and never getting them to wake up and live that dream.
In which case I totally agree with Tom ... Ati unataka java weka 60 million, that should wake you up or you can continue dreaming about irrigation in Tana River.
If Lolest has specific questions ask, but dont expect a business plan with all the analytics done for you!
PS: I say this in the true Wazua spirit.
