OMG This is a sad day for Kenya. Losing 41 has very adverse effects on their families and wider republic. Think of the orphans who may drop out of school, the widows who have lost their bread winner. The shosho whose only son/daughter, the one who was helping him is gone.....Cant imagine

Sad. annoying. unacceptable. I can imagine the speed for 31 people to die. May God give them rest, may God console their loved ones

The death toll has reached 37.....and the bus is City to City Express (operates just like Nyamira Express) these buses are always an accident waiting to happen given the way they are driven!!!!

41 now...this buses should have anti roll cages...and all mats, are they structurally strong?

Reminds me of the hullabaloo that greeted Hino's decision to assemble buses for the local market in South Africa. Says a lot about our standards if you ask me.

Oh Lord...who is the cabinet secretary for transport...why is it so hard to implement the simple michuki rules? This may not solve our road problems but it I'd the starting point...time for the president to take charge ssh well ad be responsible for tthese deaths. He has failed to implement simple road rules...

Its not all about Michuki rules but us KENYANS needs to change. The pax were aware that the bus was driven may be speedily and the driver could also have been asleep due to too much work strain.
Tupunguze tamaa ya pesa and lets not board certain buses.

So sad - May the Lord give peace to the families of the bereaved
The man who marries a beautiful woman, and the farmer who grows corn by the roadside have the same problem

starts with the owners of the vehicles, drivers of these vehicles then the police, had a near death experience a few weeks ago around the same area, Punk of a prado driver overtaking from the opposite direction forced me into a ditch, i wouldnt advice anyone to travel on this road at night, kwanza as McDoba, mentioned, buses on this route are a replica of Eldoret express, carelessly driven, kwanza Nyamira express.
