So the recent high volume at KES 10 was an exit.

... and notice the KES 3.10 in April 2009! Baying for extreme blood!!

That monthly cartoon is as ugly as it gets. And RSI is not yet oversold! Having lost support at 9 level on large volume, 2008 pattern is the likely comparison.

Won't touch this one until the monthly chart resets the strong bear trend even if results come in rosy.

im shell shocked. one reason i like this company is management, im very picky with management. hoping the new management is not bad. the captain is not going down with the ship(seaman)?

True that ... for me this is good news. with the fatal hedging mistakes segman made, it was important he leaves before killing KeKe. My Perspective.

Behind the scenes he might have also been responsible for killing the Puma deal..

The new CEO was the General Manager for Kenya and has vast experience in the Kenyan market since 2002 when he joined the company.

..

We think the change could be a pointer to a reorganization to pave way for a strategic investor which the company has previously alluded to. The net loss of KES 6.2bn posted for FY12 continues to weigh down negatively on the company particularly on finance costs as the company is EBITDA positive. A cash injection and a proposed asset sale would put the company back on track in its Africa growth.

Going by the size of exits we are witnessing at this counter lately, ALL these current bids can be taken in a flash. and the "exiters" know that!!

Segmen groomed Ohana to takeover...once he was ready...he retired...hallmark of a great CEO unlike others e.g Equity Bank.

I Think Ohana is ready to clean the mess segman has left....I am actually pleased with this retirement/sacking heads had to roll...making such a huge loss and taking a huge chunk of shareholders fund down the drain is not something a good company takes lightly.

I am actually wondering what Naikuni is still doing at KQ.
