A Managerial Icon if ever there was one. He will be one very tough act to follow.

So who's in the frame to succeed him...If not Mou, then who?

Who would MANURE's love to be their next manager, as an Arsenal fan I would not wish it to be Mour, not because he will bring trophies but would want to see an icon at the helm, somebody to be the father of a great team and not just somebody to lump players together just for glory. Have a great retirement Sir Alex

David Moyes, Jose Mourhino and Jurgen Klop......in that order, one of them to be confirmed as SAF's successor at United!!!!

Its a pity majority of them (if not all) have all failed as managers.....though Solskjaer has performed really well in the Norwegian league.

I think David Moyes will be the next Man Utd manager, Mourinho is all set for Chelsea. I really don't think SAF is replaceable, whoever takes over will face a daunting prospect.

On a light note, if Moyes is appointed........being a scot, it will be extremely difficult to convince Kenyans that this is not a tribal appointment.
