In fact i now suggest that instead of having like, we have a thumbs up and thumbs down, so that whichever post gets more than a specified number of thumbs down gets hidden automatically.
This is a self-regulation mechanism like no other. It will work like yahoo's comment section appearing after every story.
@quicksand, @aemathenge, @tycho - Just giving someone a thumbs up does not mean you cannot go ahead and add some useful piece of info. In fact it ensures the trend of thought progressively increases knowledge and reduces the need for members to respond to awkward comments. This is a good idea. H O G W A S H This is a good example of where a thumbs up and thumbs down would help decide who is right. And i think replying with "hogwash" instead of a learned delineation of your thought is actually HoGwAsh! We make or break our own tomorrows today!

i mean, i do not pre-chew it for him. I give my take as it is as unpleasant as it may be, unlike you guys. You are bad friends. Honey, you should never ever be ashamed of what you post so long as it comes from the heart. That is the beauty of being a Citizen of the Virtual Republic. I understood perfectly what you meant to say but you were providing blissful comics in an original way that is dear to my heart. Should you post something that the Republic does not like, Citizens will verify you in the Republic's well tested and understood ways. Primary School Prefect minded mentalities and hogwash exhibited by the likes of Ms. Blueman should be left just where it works well. In Primary Schools.

I understand your point, but, making a post with the fear that you may get a thumbs down, means that foolishness is illegal.
And it is possible that a fool may seek knowledge. What if he annoys 70 times 7 times?
There's also something to learn from a fool. As the late Pope used to say, foolishness is a gift from God'. Hear, hear. I sincerely hope agreeing with you shall not become a habit. This is the second time on one thread.

But foolish ideas should be contained and shown that they are indeed foolish. The foolish person who wrote the idea would go home the much wiser. We make or break our own tomorrows today!

@blueman, it is not about ideas only. It is also about nurturing, protecting and nourishing humanity.
Remember that 'containing' foolishness, is about enlightening and conversing. Not 'punishing' people.
It's not only a fool who will fear a thumbs down, even the most popular will be compromised.
Finally, truth, doesn't have to be likable. Rewarding posters by their 'likeability' will turn Wazua into something else.

The only way out is to embrace foolishness.

You are most obviously an amateur 'psychiatrist'. Go slowly in this field my friend. You may easily harm yourself.
