I hadn't even thought of that.There is also google with the Beba card.Visa and Master Card targeting east africa.With money there is no differentiation.Money is money.Anybody in the mobile money game is either targeting,experimenting with or eying Kenya.

problem with KPLC is that with alternative energy coming up(...they are talking of Wind and even Solar) there will be enaf competition to it. I think if allowed companies that have the capital to start production of alternative energy can make a kill in this country problem can the government allow such kind of a monopoly?

I think the clean energy initiative will form part of IPPs (Indepedent powers producers) who will sell directly to the distributor i.e. KPLC..

Actually the increase in no. of IPPs is good for KPLC...
More monies, more problems...
