2. Top up with Sh. 100 bundles and above (using *544*PIN#) and get free internet for 7 nights
This doesn't always work. You'll often get problems accessing the free internet. When calling customer care, they'll tell you "engineers are working on it". At that same time, other Airtel internet products may be working perfectly.
I agree and it can mainly be happening because of one thing. If you have had a chance to go through various simcards of theirs right from when they used to call themselves zain, you will realize even their access menus are different and what is funny is that some simcards from a certain year are much much faster in comparison even to those being produced this year. I have literally had this experience. Others respond promptly and immediately, while some are just plain annoying (credit munchers). This only tells you one thing, the quality control check when producing these simcards is very poor including their configuration. The irony of it all is that Safaricom are the ones amongst all that have tried to ensure that prior to release that their simcards are appropriately configured before being released into the public for sale, maybe that explains their cost in comparison. Orange have reconfigured some of their cdma lines to gsm and the performance is not as good as the gsm lines themselves, but that also depends on your connecting device and location.
I would however like to confirm to you that I am enjoying the 7 night free internet from Airtel and the speeds are really good. Am now out of downloads, I do download whole seasons, so that can give you a good idea of how it is.

3. Daily internet bundles
Don't always work either.
Again true for the reason I have mentioned above and also their systems are poorly maintained by technical personnel am not certain of their competence
