@ leona,can't remember exactly how much it cost. I think there was a consultation fee of 2k,acid peel for 2,5 and micro dermabrasion for 5k. That was around a year and a half ago. She also prescribed some creams and lotions which added to the cost of the treatment. Took about a month for the acne and scars to clear though it depends on how severe the condition is

Thanks gk & all. I'm passing the info as it comes.
@gk,when he shaves,he gets alot of pimples(big ones). it gets worse with the smoother.
I have told him to consult a dermatologist; may be he can advise him further.
..i have some acne & have benefited from the contacts posted here.

Hi guys,

Anyone suffering from itchy rashes behind the neck,not the after-shaving ones but those which persist. Ive been to several docs n used creams but they keep on coming back. All advice n help will be appreciated on how to cure this painful problem.

Your friend is probably suffering from pseudofolliculitis barbae- you can google it. However It would need to be checked by a dermatologist.

I had the same problem and tried several doctors without success. I visited one stop barber kiyonzi and a barber advised me to by an anti bacterial cream(cant remember the name but can check over the weekend) at a chemist along koinange st.

The problem is now over and has not rucurred in the last five months.
