I have always loved the parades since niwe mtoi.
Blame my dad cz hamngeona channel ingine when its was a national holiday.
Worse, he would explain the history over and over again.
So all those boring choirs and stuff bring back precious memories siwes miss.

Come to think of it.

I was ten years of age when the "eyes of the Nation" were closed at Mombatha.

Johnstone Kamau Muigai would do this thing with his fly whisk when the solder boys marched past that was soooo cool.

With his booming lion roar of a HAAARAAAAMBEEEE would always send chills crawling up my spine.
