Nope. It means buttocks. A*** has no specific name in the Kikuyu language. This guy @villageseer is flaming the issue a bit.

it still is very derogatory!

Interesting how this part of anatomy features in siasa. In the 2010 referendum, the joke around was that akina Magigi voted NO because they were being asked to vote for katimba.

I also believe that the so-called lady-administrator should be very careful in allowing this FORUM in being used in names-calling that are directed towards perceived opponents in today political-alignments.

The same trends of name-calling was used prior to the 2007 General election. These camouflage jokes were used as way of despise towards the perceived political enemies bleeds hatred and affront to human rights.

While you might think your bloggers are having good times in names-calling (i.e. reffering TNA Party as iTiNA - which in Gikuyu means dirty anus)in fact by allowing your FORUM to be used this way, you might indirectly be responsible in planting these evil seeds or ideas on ways of eliminating those opposed to these bloggers preffered candidate(s) or political party.

The burning and killing at PEV 2007, started long ways before the election, through utterances by politicians,NGOs and bloggers. They planted hatred in minds of public through their utterances and writing against other communities.

And Kenya media played a central part of disseminating these hatred messages.

I would advise you to take control and stop these stupid and unprofessional names-calling trends.

Hate speech becomes you. Take a walk.

The word also carries another deeper meaning which is an insult to women...
...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...

Ongeri and his fellow Parliamentarians had better get used to it. In a democracy, creative name calling comes with the territory.

Here is Mark Twain, describing American Mpigs over 100 years ago:

"Imagine, if you will, that I am an idiot.
Then, imagine that I am also a Congressman.
But, alas, I repeat myself."

"The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a profound truth may well be another profound truth." (Niels Bohr)

I know its being used in a derogatary manner when referring to the prince's party, but the word "itina" has many meanings many which are positive.
There is even a place by that name huko

@Njung'e coined the word...

I read Ongeri's protest in jana's DN and i was mildly amused....i promise myself not to change the language i use until the Mpigs start behaving in a manner to suggest that they are better than pigssmile

Open bribery in parliament during debate on the sugar report. What will save the MPig from itself?Pray Pray Sad

It all began ten minutes before the afternoon sitting with the suspect movement of legislators to a room in the New Wing Bar of the Senate where the ‘facilitation’ fee was quickly dished out.

The lawmakers soon formed a long queue as an MP from Rift Valley held a list allegedly containing names of beneficiaries.

It was not clear the source of the money or whom it was intended to shield from indictment.

One lesson in the 'animal farm' is that the people may be the pigs and vice versa.

Getting to the peak of great governance is a slow, painful and treacherous journey, but nevertheless, the march continues.

Even with the horrendous stuff coming from the mouths and actions of mpigs, they have achieved some, via legislation. We are better off in terms of laws than we were in 2010. The Katiba has been streamlined a bit, here and there etc etc.

Itabidi tuzoee hawa manguruwe.

The slow march continues.
