@poundf - I don't deny that they have shared some intel. including some hand-me-down hardware (such as the 100 or so 2nd hand Humvees).
Heck, they and the Brits are the ones who trained the head of the snake, the SF (Rangers and Deltas) that were at the forefront of the amphibious Ops. Indeed, we have also shared intel with them as we understand somali and its myriad clans better - how do you think they have been able to track and then direct their armed MQ-9 Reaper drones to unleash missiles on some alkefafu leaders/ fighters?
But their assistance in this beach landing should not overshadow KDF's own overt and covert efforts - to suggest we have relied almost entirely on foreign assistance for this op as alluded to in some western reports which were actually initially dismissive,nay, derisive of OLN a year ago is preposterous.
