What if what we are seeing is merely an unearthing of what has been, all along?

What if what we are seeing is a reflection of what older generations have gained, and that these 'youth' are just doing what they have been told to do? For example, even the 'older' generations have affirmed sexual liberation, the 'older' generation that is pounding these youth, are proud of not following religious institutions, they have advocated for the absolute pursuit of wealth and glamor . . . all that these youth know is a result of acquaintance with the 'old'.

And does one instance, or even a hundred more instances of this prove that the youth are rotting by the day?

Castigating these 'youths' on the any grounds is an act of hypocrisy.

I haven't seen this statement from the link. And even if they made such a statement, it doesn't follow that they are atheists. One would say that they aren't Christians, or Muslims, but he'd go only as far as that. For it is conceivable that a particular brand of theism might prescribe that all women or even some women should please, or unite with as many men as possible.

It is possible to be theistic but un-institutional. One can have a personal understanding of God that doesn't follow convention.

Therefore these are inadequate grounds for making the declaration that these young people are atheists.

And again spirituality involves something like a journey, it's all a matter of growth on each day. So let us avoid saying these things lest we join the mob justice crew.
