As mentioned in other discussions,NSE lags the global equity markets. Lately global markets have been tumbling,so this was highly expected.

Good call guys! The market has quietly turned around. Greens outnumber reds by a factor of 4:1 and shares are getting scarce. Managed to pick some CoopBank yesterday at 9.00 and others today upto 9.35. I am already in the money as at the latest prices and I expect the price to pick up further as we approach 2nd Qtr results.

After going down for the last few sessions, prices on most NSE counters are looking up this morning with demand on most counters exceeding supply. It appears the jitters arising from the envelope are receding. Moreover results season will soon be upon us and this normally tends to move prices upwards on speculation over the results, before their release. Old Mutual's projection of a 3.2% growth in the economy also seems to be adding some fuel to the fire.

NSE imekuwa soko ya njioni, most counters have shown northward movement in the afternoon! May be coz the envelop was not opened at noon as was anticipated - my guess!!!

Kenyans are profit oriented. They easily forget such as the envelop vey quickly. The maximum period such a thing can affect the market is two weeks at most from observation.

I do not agree that there are jitters.
