@ redice and others that may have used the iphone.

I see on pics that the touch screen goes QWERTY. How fast can one type on it?
May not be a good buy if you can only plonk along at 5 wpm.

Better to get the blackberry or nokia e-series with better ergonomics as far as typing is concerned.

@Juma
I have been using the iPhone since its first launch last year and have been selling them since that time too. The typing is much easier than on a blackberry.
Qwerty is the standard keyboards. And once u get use to it.. u move fast..

hacked iphones to work on other operators normally loose out on warranty. I have been selling these phones from their release in june last year. I have sold over 100 of them since and have never had a problem with the hardware itself. I love to help out my friends (customers) incase of software issues and only charge where necessary.

I think we wait and see after all its just a day away. They definitely have to lock them to their network,thats the gist of the deal. Like other deals before this one,we expect to see more of the Iphones in the market a factor that will invariably push down their prices. This can only be a good thing for the consumer I presume.

Why would anyone want to buy a locked iphone,at that too on a useless network like orange that has bad call quality,hardly works,no 3g (iphone 3g Eh?),and works only in nairobi and mombasa for only they know how long.
I sell officially unlocked iphones work on any network anywhere in the world. these are not crappy sim unlock solutions but officially activated and unlocked by apple.

8gb - 70k
16gb - 85k

I'm looking to get the new Sony Ericsson Experia (X series) got those? Beats any i-phone hands down IMO.

you then have to buy an orange contract for a year. and get stuck to a network that has bad quality and is only within nairobi and mombasa. and not to mention doesnt have 3g yet.
you might as well just buy unlocked 3g iphones
