@maka could be having contact, i know rhode grass is really good.

@mawinder thanx for your info, but 200@ per bail is just too expensive for a serious dairy farmer.

Yes indeed...he inspired me alot. Will be sharing my own farming knowledge and experience in Cattle Farming. I just planted Napier Grass and Boma rhodes.

Just bought some Desmodium seeds, Anyone one who has planted Desmodium green leaf before, Am looking for guidelines on how to get maximum yield. I intend to interplant it with nappier Grass using Tumbukiza Mtd(TM). should it be inside the TM pits or over the pits spacing.

was also wondering if we have the native names for Desmodium ? Boma Rhodes, Lucerne etc...atleast I know nappier grass is 'Thara' in my dialect.

These arent indigenous nyasi thats why hazina hizo majina...about planting desmodium aint it behind that ka leaflet for kenya seed co assuming thats where you got the seed or on their website or just google...
